To keep your child healthy, be sure he or she is...

** Well Rested:

Kindergarten and first grade students should have ten to twelve hours of sleep each night; second and third graders may need nine to ten hours of sleep, and fourth and fifth graders may need eight to nine hours of sleep each night.

** Well Nourished:

Meals should be well-balanced and unhurried. Insist on wholesome, nutritious foods while avoiding junk food. Our district follows the Federal legislation and the newly adopted board policy on nutrition.
